What Fusion does
Pick Fusion from the model menu and your question goes to the newest flagship from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google — simultaneously and independently. Each writes its own answer with no knowledge of the others. Then a synthesis pass merges them: keeping what they agree on, dropping individual mistakes, and flagging any genuine factual disagreement instead of guessing.
You can watch it work — each draft lands in the Deliberation trace as it finishes, before the merged answer streams in.
It's for the questions where being right matters more than being fast: decisions, tricky facts, anything you'd normally ask twice. Fair warning on price — you're buying three premium answers plus a merge, and it charges each model's credits accordingly. Everyday questions don't need it. The hard ones do.

Auto Router, your way
Auto Router now has a style setting (Settings → Auto Router style):
Savings — stretch your allowance: everyday questions go to the best 1× model.
Balanced — the default smart routing, unchanged.
Quality — every question goes to the newest flagship, no routing lottery.
And when Auto answers, the chat list now shows what it picked: auto → gemini-3.5-flash, so the router is never a black box.
